WAYS TO GIVE

Lend a Helping Hand by Shopping Online to Raise Funds goodsearch

Helping those in need is our mission and we would love if you could lend a helping hand. While we will always accept donations of food, clothing, funds and miscellaneous items, we are asking you to join a new fundraising program that has proven successful for over 110,000 charities and schools nationwide.  Since 2006, the Goodshop organization has donated nearly $11 millions to these non-profits, and now we’ve partnered with Goodshop to raise funds for Southern Mission Ministries.

Every time you shop at any of over 4,000 retailers online, Goodshop.com could be donating a percentage of what you spend to Southern Mission Ministries.  Every dollar you raise through Goodshop will help feed needy families in our community, or help them with utility and rent/mortgage assistance.  No one wants to see family, friends or neighbors go without food or heat, or lose their home.  That’s why the Goodshop program is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who shops online (and for those who are willing to start shopping online) to raise funds, without any added costs to them.  You will likely recognize many of the 4,000+ retailers participating in this program, including Target, ShinDigz, Toshiba, Priceline, NFL Shop, Kohl's and Walmart.

The program is free and easy!  Sign up at Goodshop.com, designate Southern Mission Ministries as your non-profit, and then when ever you want to shop online, enter your favorites retail sites through the Goodshop.com portal. It’s that simple!  In addition to earning donations that will fund transportation to doctors appointments for the elderly and job counseling for veterans, the Goodshop program offers over 100,000 coupons, deals and promotions that are designed to save you money.  You might use a redEnvelope coupon to save up to 60% on Clearance or a Walgreens coupon for 20% Off Home Health Care products.  For these retailers, Goodshop will donate 8% and 4% of your purchases to Southern Mission Ministries.

You don’t have to change your purchasing habits, or switch retailer. Just by entering your usual retail sites through the Goodshop portal, you will generate funds that Southern Mission Ministries will put to good use help those in need throughout our community.
